TAFE NSW Resources to support drawing topics:

The 803 Furniture Making and Design (Flexible LearnignToolbox) is now available to TAFE NSW staff via the EQUELLA resource repository and can be downloaded or placed directly in you Moodel or Sakai learning management system.
This innovative Toolbox provides learners with opportunities to develop key skills in designing and producing furniture to meet client needs.

Drawing instruments:
To produce technical drawings you will need a the following items:
A drawing board - 800 x 500mm
"T" Square - Kent Timber - minimum 750mm long
A set of set squares - 1x 45 and 1 60/30 - Kent No.10 or 12 size are best
A compass set with extension bar - Staedtler Noris Club Compass Set or similar
A series of pencils - "2H" for most drawings and "F" grade for outlines
A Scale rule with 1:2, 1:5, 1:10 & 1:20 scales - Kent Double Sided Handscale Ruler 61M
An eraser
Most of this equipment is availabel from Officeworks or similar suppliers:
